Favorite Holiday
My favorite holiday is an Islamic holiday called Eid, but there are two versions of Eid. They are called Eid-al-Fitr and Eid-al-Adah. Eid-al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, while Eid-al-Adah falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah and lasts for four days until the 13th day. Dhu al-Hijjah is the twelfth and final month in the Islamic calendar. There is also an Eid prayer called Salat al-Eid. One reason it is my favorite holiday is because it is the only one that I actually celebrate, and I get eidi or eidia from my parents. Eidi or eidia is a gift that is usually given to by elder relatives and family friends as part of the celebration of the two Muslim holidays, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. The most common eidi gift is money.
Each note is about 7-8$
